Abstract
Ülkemizde hasır örücülüğü olarak bilinen el sanatı üretildiği bölgede yetişen hammaddeye bağlı olarak değişiklik gösterir. Bu çalışmada hasır örme sanatının Bartın yöresindeki örneği üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmada yöre kadınlarının geleneksel el çantası olarak ördüğü “zembil örücülüğü” ile başlayan bu el sanatının geçmişi, bugünü ve hasır örücülüğü nezdinde modern hayata nasıl uyum sağladığı değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı bugüne kadar bilimsel çalışma yapılmayan Bartın “zembil ve hasır örücülüğü” sanatını halkbilim literatürüne kazandırmak, Bartın ilinde mısır soymuğu örücülüğü sanatını tanıtmak ve hâla yaşayan bir sanat olduğunu belgelemektir. Bu çalışma ile teknolojinin bu kadar hızlı geliştiği bir çağda mısır soymuğundan zembil ve hasır örücülük sanatının günümüzde modern tasarımlarla ünlü markalardaki uzantıları ortaya konmuştur.
Çalışmada alan araştırması ve literatür taraması yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Kaynak kişilerle derleme yapılmış olup icra ortamlarında bulunulmuştur. Kaynak kişiler usta-çırak ilişkisi göz önünde bulundurularak belirlenmiştir. Söz konusu el sanatının, küreselleşme ve teknolojik değişmeler gibi etkenler nedeniyle modern hayata ayak uydurduğu, malzeme değişikliği olsa da sanatın geleneksel bilginin taşınarak farklı bağlamlarda devam ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Bartın’ın yaşayan en önemli el sanatlarından biri olan mısır soymuğundan “zembil ve hasır örücülüğü” nün yöredeki son durumu kayıt altına alınmıştır.

Abstract
The handicraft known as wicker weaving in our country varies depending on the raw materials grown in the region where it is produced. In this study, the example of the art of wicker weaving in the Bartın region is emphasized. In the study, the past, present and how this handicraft, which started with "zembil knitting", which was knitted by local women as traditional handbags, adapted to modern life in the eyes of straw weaving, was evaluated. The aim of the study is to introduce the art of Bartın "zembil and wicker knitting", which has not been scientifically studied to date, to the folklore literature, to introduce the art of corn husk knitting in Bartın province and to document that it is still a living art. With this study, the extensions of the art of corn husk and wicker weaving in famous brands with modern designs in an age where technology is developing so rapidly have been revealed. In the study, field research and literature review methods were used. Compilation was made with resource persons and performance environments were attended. Resource persons were determined by taking the master-apprentice relationship into consideration. It has been determined that the handicraft in question has adapted to modern life due to factors such as globalization and technological changes, and that although there are changes in materials, the art continues in different contexts by carrying traditional knowledge. The latest situation in the region of "zembil and wicker weaving" made of corn husks, one of the most important handicrafts of Bartın, has been recorded.
