Abstract
Birçok farklı din ve toplumda dağlar yüksekliği ile insanları etkilemiş, dini dünyalara yakınlaşma mekanı olarak görülmüş ve dağlara kutsiyet atfedilmiştir. Bu kutsama hayalî Kâf Dağı mekanının doğmasına sebep olmuş ve bu mekan Türk edebiyatı geleneklerine de yansıyarak masal türü başta olmak üzere destan, efsane, mit ve halk hikayelerinde tezahür etmiştir. Asırlar boyunca teşekkülü devam eden edebi türlerin zamanla iç içe geçmesi ve birbirlerine kaynaklık etmesi ile meydana gelen bu girift yapı, Türk edebiyatında türlerin ayrımını ve tasnifini zorlaştırmıştır. Genellikle masallarda görülen ve cin, peri, dev gibi olağanüstü canlıların ikametgahı; ulaşılması zor, yolları meşakkat ve çile ile dolu olan Kaf Dağı, aynı zamanda Anka/Simurg/Zümrüdüanka isimleriyle bilinen ve kahramanlara akıl hocalığı yapan, yüzü insana benzer bir kuşun da yaşadığı yerdir. Büyü ve tılsımlarla dolu bu dağa sadece Allah'ın müsaade buyurduğu kahramanlar/kişiler ulaşabilmekte ve arza yeniden dönebilmektedir. Olağanüstülükler dünyası olan Kaf Dağı, tasavvufi söylemde de kendine yer edinmiş ve onunla ilgili birçok metafor üretilmiştir. Çalışmamızda Anadolu sahasından seçilen 135 halk hikayesi incelenmiş, Kaf Dağı ve unsurlarının görüldüğü Kirmanşah, Zaloğlu Rüstem ve Davutoğlu Süleyman hikayeleri özelinde Kaf Dağı'nın halk hikayelerindeki tasviri ile ilgili bir tespit yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
In many different religions and societies, the mountains have affected people with their height, they have been seen as a place to get closer to the religious worlds and the mountains have been attributed to holiness. This blessing caused the birth of the imaginary Mount Kaf place, and this place was reflected in the traditions of Turkish literature, manifested in epics, legends, myths and folk tales, especially in the genre of fairy tales. This intricate structure, which was formed by the intertwining and originating of literary genres over the centuries, made it difficult to distinguish and classify genres in Turkish literature. The residence of extraordinary creatures such as jinn, fairy and giants, which are usually seen in fairy tales; Kaf Mountain, which is difficult to reach and whose roads are full of hardship and ordeal, is also the place where a human-like bird lives, known by the names Anka/ Simurg/Zümrüdüanka, who mentors the heroes. Only the heroes/persons allowed by Allah can reach this mountain full of magic and talismans, and they can return to the earth again. Mount Kaf, which is a world of extraordinary things, has also taken its place in mystical discourse and many metaphors have been produced about it. In our study, 135 folk tales selected from the Anatolian area were examined, and a determination was made about the description of Kaf Mountain in folk tales, in particular the stories of Kirmanşah, Zaloğlu Rüstem and Davutoğlu Süleyman, in which Mount Kaf and its elements are seen.
