Abstract
Türk kültürünün tarihsel ve folklorik izlerine bakıldığında İslamiyet öncesine kadar uzanan kadın algısının öneminin her dönemde korunduğu görülmüştür. Kadın, sosyo-kültürel olarak varlığını milli güvenlik teşkilatı içinde de sürdürmüştür. Bu çalışmada Türk kültürü içerisinde polislik mesleğinde yer alan kadın algısı üzerinden tarihsel süreç ve genetikten gelen kadın kodları hakkında ve polis teşkilatında kadının rolünün öneminin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, milli güvenliğimizde tarihsel süreçler içerisinde önemli bir yeri olan kadının Türk Polis Teşkilatı içerisindeki gelişimi hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Türk kültürü bağlamında polislik mesleği içerisinde kadının önemini tespit etmek amacıyla düzenlediğimiz anketimize 79’u kadın, 148’i erkek 227 kişi katılmıştır. Ankete katılan 227 kişi polis teşkilatında görev alan memurlardır. Ankette kadınların polis teşkilatında görev alması sebebiyle erkek katılımcıların görüşleri ve kadınların polis teşkilatındaki algısını tespit amaçlı katılımcılara 14 soru yöneltilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler yüzdelik dilim olarak ifade edilmiştir. Güvenirlilik açısından ankette iki farklı program kullanımı yapılmıştır. Çalışmada Google Form anket ve Jot Form anket programı kullanılmıştır. Anket içerisinde Google Form anket ve Jet Form anket programı toplam katılımcı sayısı 307 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere çalışma içerisinde ilgili konuya değinilirken yer verilmiştir. Türk kültüründe kadın algısı ve polislik mesleği içerisinde kadın algısı incelenerek Türk Halkbilimi akademik dünyasına “kültür ve meslek” köprüsü kurularak farklı bir bakış açısıyla katkı sunmak amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract
In this study, information is given about the historical process and women's codes derived from genetics, based on the perception of women in the police profession in Turkish culture. In the pre-Islamic Turkish cultural history, women's roles, apart from the typical female characteristics that are accepted today, also include management and warrior aspects. The role of women in the police force has been discussed within a certain period, with boundaries drawn within the developments in the Ottoman and Republican periods. Based on this context, women have gained their socio-cultural presence within the national security organization. It has been observed that the perception of women, whose historical and folkloric traces of Turkish culture date back to pre-Islamic times, maintains its importance. Information was given about the development of women within the Turkish Police Department profession. Female police officers, who have an important place in our national security throughout history, continue to exist today. In our study, 227 people (79 women, 148 men) participated in our survey. 14 questions were asked to the participants. Two different programs were used for reliability. Google Form survey and Jot form survey program were used in the study. Since these are 79 women and 148 men in the police force, the data determined by considering the perception of men towards women and the perception of women in the police force are given in each statement as a percentage. The total number of participants in the Google form survey and Jet Form survey program was determined to be 307. The data obtained are included in the study while touching on the relevant subject. By examining the perception of women in Turkish culture and the perception of women in the police profession, it is aimed to contribute to the academic world of Turkish Folklore from a different perspective by establishing a "culture and profession" bridge.
