Abstract
Şabaniye, Halvetiyye tarikatının bir kolu olan Cemâliye’nin bir şubesidir. Kastamonu’da Şeyh Şaban-ı Veli’ye izafeten XVI. yüzyılda teşekkül etmiştir. Kastamonu’da Şaban-ı Veli’den sonra posta on yedi şeyh oturmuştur. Bunların sonuncusu Şeyh Mehmet Atâullah Armay Efendi’dir. 1882-1942 yılları arasında yaşamıştır. Hem anne hem de baba tarafından şeyh ailesine mensuptur. Annesi, Hâlidî tarikatı şeyhlerinden Şeyh Ahmed Siyâhî’nin torunudur. Atâullah Efendi 19 Mart 1897 tarihinde posta oturmuştur. Çok yönlü bir şahsiyettir. Şiire, musikiye meraklıdır. Ataullah Efendi’nin zaman zaman siyasi faaliyetleri de olmuştur. 1910 yılında Kastamonu İstinaf Mahkemesi üyeliğine seçilmiştir. Sultan Mehmed Reşad’ın tahta çıkışını tebrik için İstanbul’a giden heyetin içinde yer almıştır. 1912 tarihinde İttihat ve Terakki Cemiyeti murahhaslığına tayin edilmiş, 1333 Hicrî yılında da (1914) cemiyetin mesul kâtipliğine seçilmiştir. Meşrutiyet Dönemi’nde Donanma Cemiyeti Meclis-i Umûmî azalığında bulunmuştur. Millî Mücadele’de Kastamonu’da aktif rol almış, bu süreçte mühim katkıları görülmüştür. Bu yazımızda Ataullah Efendi’nin hayatı ve şeceresi üzerinde durulmuş ve onun şairlik yönüne vurgu yapılarak beş şiirine yer verilmiştir. Atâullah Efendi ile ilgili belgeler ekler kısmına ilave edilmiştir.

Abstract
The Şabaniye is a branch of the Cemaliye, itself a sub-order of the Halvetiyye Sufi order. It was established in Kastamonu in the 16th century and is attributed to Sheikh Shaban-ı Veli. Following Shaban-ı Veli, seventeen sheikhs held the position in Kastamonu. The last of these was Sheikh Mehmet Ataullah Armay Efendi, who lived between 1882 and 1942. He came from a family of sheikhs on both his mother’s and father’s sides. His mother was the granddaughter of Sheikh Ahmed Siyahi, one of the sheikhs of the Halidi order. Ataullah Efendi assumed the position on March 19, 1897. He was a multifaceted personality, with interests in poetry and music. Ataullah Efendi also engaged in political activities from time to time. In 1910, he was elected as a member of the Kastamonu Court of Appeal. He was part of the delegation that went to Istanbul to congratulate Sultan Mehmed Reşad on his accession to the throne. In 1912, he was appointed as a representative of the Committee of İttihat ve Terakki, and in the Hijri year 1333 (1914), he was elected as the society’s secretary. During the Constitutional Era, he served as a member of the General Assembly of the Navy Society. He played an active role in Kastamonu during the National Struggle, making significant contributions throughout this period. This article focuses on the life and genealogy of Ataullah Efendi, emphasizing his poetic side and including five of his poems. Documents related to Ataullah Efendi are provided in the appendix.
